N-terminal transmembrane domain of PorinMspA

Porin MspA, see figure 1, is an ion channel protein that is found in m. smegmatis extracellular vesicles (Prados-Rosales et al., 2011).

This part was designed as a domain for the composite part BBa_K5403016, which is a fusion protein of the signal sequence of porinMspA, a flexible linker and GFP, aiming to anchor the GFP into the membrane of the vesicles of M. smegmatis.
